A small, independent multi-media organisation, with a focus on Full stack development and digital video production, when we're not making high end websites, apps and digital videos, we can be found pottering around in kayaks and on surf boards.
You've probably at this point figured out that there is no real company or organisation called Surfer Dude Studios, this website is a showpiece, but that's no reason not to pass on by. When it comes to building a quality digital product there's a lot of ground to cover, and a lot of effort that goes on behind the scenes.
Much like surfing, quality digital development takes a wide range of skills, a lot of practice, and constant learning.

Surfing the web is fortunately a redundant term, a whimsical term, for a much more whimsical world-wide-web. Never the less it is an accurate metaphor. Digital development, modern technology, and particularly the web, require, and offer, more than just passive browsing in a modern context.
A user can be either overwhelmed, and swept aside by the progress of technology, or carried along with it.
Gone are the days of simply looking for an interesting blog, or aesthetically pleasing brochure-ware. Now we live our lives out with web enabled devices, booking holidays, and cinema tickets, shopping and banking, reviewing, and communicating with colleagues and friends extensively online

Surfer Dude Studios aims to do more than be carried along. We aim to ride the front of this wave, with style and skill. But what does it take to accomplish this?
Much like surfing, it takes a lifetime of learning, skill, dedication, and retrospect to achieve a quality digital product.
And much like surfing, no one truly believes that they have achieved the final goal. There's always a desire, successful or not, to turn around, and try again to do better next time.
